Re Widening Horizons Making a Printing Block film : Nicki focussed on the work of Corita Kent, a nun who taught art students in America in the 1960s. Her work is not very well known in the UK compared to in America so please see the Corita Kent link for staff below which tells us a bit more about Corita and her work.

Artist Priscilla Edwards' second film was inspired by artwork from two classes - the wool tassels and cords made by last year's Yr 2 and drawings and photographs from when last year's Yr 5 warped up their classroom with wool! Therefore Yr 1, Yr 2, Yr 5 and Yr 6 staff would find this film of interest. Once again Priscilla's demo is fascinating as you watch what she creates from found materials collected from the beach and her store cupboards...
