FSM Eligibility
All children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to receive free school meals. If you are receiving qualifying benefits, your children will be eligible to receive free school meals in years 3-6, with your eligibility reviewed annually by the council.
Lancashire County Council's website, below, has all the details you need as well as the online application link to check if you are entitled to free school meals. If your child is in Rec-Year 2, you are still encouraged to apply if you think you are eligible, as this increases the funding which school receives and entitles you to other benefits such as free milk for your child and food vouchers to cover the holiday periods (subject to Government funding).
