Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)

Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) means that a child may find it more difficult to learn than their peers because they have a learning difficulty or disability. They may require reasonable adjustments to support them to access learning.

At St Mary’s we identify and provide support to children with SEND.

As an inclusive school, we want all our pupils to be successful learners and participate in the full life of our school.

Our SENDCo is Mrs Wilkinson.

Our Associate SENDCo is currently Christina Smith who can be contacted via the school office or on email: sen@st-marys-morecambe.lancs.sch.uk.
