We are part of the Catholic Parish of Blessed John Henry Newman in the seaside resort of Morecambe. The Parish spreads right across Morecambe heading north towards Hest Bank and the villages of Bare and Torrisholme. Also heading south towards Heysham and the villages of Middleton, Overton and Sunderland Point.

There are three Churches in our Parish.  Our church is St. Mary’s which is situated close to the Town Centre and Promenade on Matthias Street. 

Other churches in our parish are St. Patrick’s which is in Heysham on St. John’s Road and The Good Shepherd which is in the village of Torrisholme on Slyne Road. 

Fr Darren Carden is our new Parish Priest and he is closely attached to our school visiting to meet with both staff and children.  Fr Darren is such a valuable asset to our school as he serves as one of our governors and he supports us in the Faith of the Catholic Church. At Mass it is always a pleasure when he speaks personally to the children in his Homily.
