Special Educational Needs and Disabilities
At St. Mary's Catholic Primary School we work hard to ensure children with Special Educational Needs or Disabilities are well supported, and that each child's particular need is identified and addressed to ensure they can make progress and achieve their full potential.
Our SENCo (Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator) is Miss Helen Crone who can be contacted via the school office should you wish to find out more about how your child might be supported in school.

I keep being asked for the same information by families and professionals so I hope that this can help to answer some of those questions. I run a Facebook group and regularly share posts on there that are relevant to families with children with additional needs. https://www.facebook.com/groups/NorthLancsDirectionsGroup/
I have held a couple of zoom meetings/virtual AOK with families. Families will need to let me know so I can invite them along, or they can follow the AOK Facebook page for updates https://www.facebook.com/AOKParentPeerSupport/
There is a really handy guide for families with pre-school children either at the start of the autism diagnosis process or recently been through it, lots of handy tips and links in there;
